ANTHONY EPP - DIRECTOR/WRITER/PRODUCER
Anthony Epp started his filmmaking career as a Producer and Writer on the Superchannel feature documentary, "Unspoken Rules". He has produced and directed several short films as well as a feature documentary He has worked on television shows like “Motive”, “Primeval: New World” and “Sanctuary”. Anthony has built a successful filmmaking career working as an Assistant Director on the tv series “The Switch”, web series such as “Android Employed” and the award-winning “The Drive”, and two recent feature film projects, “The Iron Sixth” and “Prodigals”, starring David Alpay and Sara Canning.
HELENA THOM - DIRECTOR/WRITER/PRODUCER
Helena Thom is a writer, director, and producer based in Vancouver, BC. She has worked on the award winning web series, “The Drive”, as well as the recently completed feature films, “The Iron Sixth”, and “Prodigals”, as an Assistant Director. Helena has produced and directed the recent web series pilot, The Quiet Canadians, for TELUS’s 2016 Storyhive contest. On her spare time, she enjoys dabbling in Special Effects Makeup (SFX).
MARY ANN QUIRING - PRODUCER, MARKETING
Mary Ann Quiring has been involved in all aspects of operation with non-profit organizations for the last 15 years. She enjoys reading and genealogical research. She also enjoys many genres of movies and television programs from science fiction to comedy. She is married to a wonderful man, Ernie. They have two grown children. She is excited to be involved with the 13 Miles project and hopes that everybody will join her in what she believes will be a "resounding success!"
HAYLEY GRAY - PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
Hayley is a Vancouver-based production coordinator, producer and aspiring director. Born and raised in Kingston Ontario, the traditional territories of the Huron and Haudenosaunee people, she grew up in community theatre and activism. When she moved to Nova Scotia to pursue her BA at Dalhousie University where she directed and acted on stage, as well as researching in an addictions laboratory and running the Dalhousie Women’s Centre. Since making the jump to the West Coast Hayley has completed her training at Vancouver Film School and starred in dozens commercials. She’s built up a reputation for diversity casting, casting The Switch (OutTV), the world's first transgender sitcom, La Quinceanera (Lucha Gore - Stage 13), a Latino Gore series with a predominantly Latino cast, and many other films. Hayley has production coordinated features, series and shorts and is exited to jump on board 13 Miles.
